OK - in my traveles prior to work yesterday, I stop in to Tower and discover NEW DREDG CD!!!! UBER!!!! So I instantly buy it, for $9, why the hell not - even if it was bad. I wanted to come home and tell you all how awesome it is, but that's not going to happen. This makes Chris a sad panda... To be fair, their second CD was so incredable, it was neigh unbeatable (in the sense that it would difficult for them to be able to produce anything better) but I was hoping for something on the same level. I've only listend to it once - and on some crack-sucking speakers in my dad's truck, but it doesn't match "El Cielo" Which is mighty unfortunate. There are a couple songs I'm really into, but there are others that taste as watered-down variations of stuff they've done before. Some of it just sounds an awful lot alike too - although that could well be the crappy speakers. I hope to listen to it more today before work on my much-better computer speakers.

My traveles through neverland were later interupted by a phone call from my mother that her car was the broke. After having it towed to Maita Subaru; we get the prognosis that the engine is "critically damaged" They are disassembling the engine block this morning to determine the precise cause. Based on the description, I believe either one of the pistons/piston rods cracked/broke or a cam causing one or more pistons to strike the valves while open. Fortuantely it's still under warranty. >:D

ALSO - I have Thursday - Friday off this week!! DRUNKEN CELEBRATION for my leaving AR on one of these days - comment/call with your preference and if you wish, locatin suggestions. My house is out unfortuantely. Both Hardtimes (pool hall) & Pine Cove (bar) are high on the list. A residence is also fine.
